Naomi is an experienced communicator, trainer, and visionary. She finds immense joy in researching, trying, and sharing EdTech tools which will strengthen and support teachers’ instructional goals. As the district EdTech Trainer and Integration Specialist for Owasso Public Schools, Naomi has helped solidify Google Classroom as the district LMS by offering whole district, small group, and individual training sessions for teachers; introduced the Google Master Classroom for teams; redesigned and expanded the internal professional development website for teachers of all subjects and divisions; spearheaded HyFlex instructional design and equipment protocols; and provided numerous in-person and virtual training sessions on Artificial Intelligence and EdTech tools within and beyond Google Workspaces. As a Google Certified Trainer and Educator with twenty years’ experience teaching secondary English in public, independent, international, and virtual schools, a B.A. in Communication, an M.A.T. in Language Arts, and an Ed.S. in Educational Technology, Naomi is motivated by the pursuit of excellence in all things teaching and learning with technology.
