Congratulations Cleveland Public Schools!!!

Cleveland Public Schools was awarded the Oklahoma Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant and proudly hosted a STEM camp titled “Scaffolding Literacy Through STEM.” This innovative camp focused on strengthening reading comprehension in math and science through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Students explored a wide range of STEM topics—including energy, environmental science, chemical reactions, space and aerodynamics, physics and motion, weather, engineering, and robotics. Throughout the camp, students actively documented their learning by taking notes during activities and journaling daily reflections, reinforcing literacy skills in meaningful, content-rich contexts.
