Ashley is currently the library media specialist at Canton Public Schools in Canton, Oklahoma. Ashley has presented at local, state and national conferences on innovative programs and projects for the classroom and library. After presenting at the American Association for School Libraries Conference in 2013, Ashley was published in the American Libraries Magazine. She has also presented at ISTE, the International Society for Technology in Education. Ashley began in education in 2021 and has taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and has 12 years experience as a library media specialist. In 2012, Ashley was named Savannah Elementary’s teacher of the year. In 2014, she was named Longfellow Middle School’s teacher of the year and in 2017, she received this honor again at Garber Public Schools.
